For California Residents
California Proposition 65 Warning
WARNING: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 is a California law that requires businesses to provide warnings to California residents about significant exposures to chemicals that may increase the risk of cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The State of California maintains a list of approximately 900 naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that are subject to this requirement.
A Proposition 65 warning does not mean that a product is unsafe. The warning thresholds established under Proposition 65 are significantly more conservative than the safety limits set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other federal regulatory agencies. Many common foods — including leafy greens, dark chocolate, and tea — contain naturally occurring trace amounts of listed substances at levels that would require a Proposition 65 warning.
Our herbal products are sourced from reputable suppliers who test for heavy metals and contaminants in accordance with FDA guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
